TOUR PARTICIPATION: African Travel Mate reserves the right to expel tour participants in an occasion an individual conducts themselves in an inharmonious behavior towards other tour participants. No refund will be applicable in this condition. Any additional costs incurred in this incidence will not be sole responsibility of African Travel Mate.

TOUR OPERATIONS: African Travel Mate holds the sole right to make changes to itineraries should there be any unforeseen events.

HEALTH SAFETY & SECURITY: We at African Travel Mate are concerned about the wellbeing of our clients. We therefore recommend our clients to send us well detailed dietary requirements 30 days prior commencement of the trip. We strongly recommend our clients to purchase trip, medical, loss of baggage and trip interruption insurance. Children under the age of sixteen are not recommended to participate in tours exceptions will only be made for tailor made packages. Any medical condition or disability that requires special attention should be communicated by email to the reservations office 30 days prior the commencement of the trip.

We have standard safety and security procedures, we strongly recommend our clients to adhere to our safety and security protocols.  Our activities include close encounters with dangerous wild animals African Travel Mate will not be held responsible for any irresponsible behavior leading to injuries and shock.

INDEMNIFICATION: African Travel Mate indemnifies its affiliates, agents, partners, directors, managers and all employees in their individual capacity or otherwise from and against any losses arising out of;

• Your failure to comply with applicable law; or (iii) your failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement.
• Your negligence;
• Your failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement.

Booking and Cancellation Policies

A booking is confirmed upon a receipt of a 25% deposit. Payment in FULL should be made 60 days before the tour.

Cancellation of a trip is accepted but there will be a 15% processing fee. Cancellations received after that period will result in fee forfeiture. 

• 60 days or less from date of travel – 50% cancellation charge
• 30 days or less from date of travel – 100% cancellation charge
• No-Shows are non-refundable.

Please note that there is no refund for unused portions of a tour once it has commenced.
